What: "Neuroscience 2008," the Society for Neuroscience annual meeting - Find out the latest news about the brain and its complexity from the world's top experts. 52 percent of new diagnoses of bipolar disorder patients receiving antidepressants in the first-line treatment

Decision Resources, one of the world's leading research and advisory firms focusing on pharmaceutical and healthcare issues, finds that 52.3 percent of new patients diagnosed with bipolar disorder are prescribed antidepressants province.

The new report, entitled "Algorithms for the treatment of bipolar disorder is of the opinion that such a high preponderance of first-line use of antidepressants has made primary care prescribing doctor.
